This gallery-wrapped art piece, ready to hang, features a river surrounded by tall city buildings. For more than 30 years, American impressionist Richard Wallich has honed his painting talents. He initially worked in realism at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois, where he studied painting and figure drawing, but found the style too time-consuming. Impressionism soon allowed him to work much faster and more spontaneously, enabling him to truly immerse himself in the painting process.

Richard has been commissioned for numerous prestigious projects, including painting for the Super Bowl in 1989 and serving as the official artist for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also been commissioned by several large companies such as Coca Cola, M & M Mars, and American Airlines.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process that produces high-quality fine art reproductions, making the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors is a testament to the attainable excellence it affords.

Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that it wraps around the sides and is secured to a hidden, wooden frame. This technique allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting, enhancing the viewer's experience.
